Open and close the boot lid with a kick motion under the rear shock absorber. This is particularly helpful if you want to load something but no longer have a free hand.

           Cockpit with centre console Everything under control The centre console in the EQB has been optimised and impresses with its new, solid design. It offers more stowage space and, thanks to the intuitive arrangement of the controls, you can conveniently access all functions without having to divert your attention away from the traffic.
          Multifunction sports steering wheel All-in-one smart: the fifth-generation three-spoke steering wheel. Optionally available in "leather" or "leather nappa” it delights with touch control panels offering easier finger navigation. This means that you can not only steer your EQB safely through the traffic, but can also control various functions while driving. Finished in ARTICO man-made leather, the steering wheel is available in combination with other leather-free seat covers as part of the leather-free Package[1].
          Burmester® surround sound system with Dolby Atmos® More music. More space, clarity and depth. With the Burmester® surround sound system with Dolby Atmos® [1] , you can experience music in your EQB in a whole new dimension. The technology makes it possible to arrange certain audio elements in a three-dimensional sound field, thus providing an unprecedented sound experience in the vehicle.
          Leather-free interior If you prefer to do without leather, Mercedes-Benz now offers a completely leather-free interior for the EQB[1], ensuring a high-quality and elegant look without having to compromise by accepting real leather. The upholstery and the multifunction steering wheel, both finished in ARTICO man-made leather, compliment each other tastefully.
          Comfort seats with memory function Remember: the seating comfort in your EQB. With the electrically adjustable seats with memory function, [1] you can save and conveniently select up to three different seat positions. This function is particularly practical if drivers and therefore seat settings change frequently.

          Fingerprint scanner With the fingerprint scanner[2] you unlock access to your personal data. These include profiles or office and payment functions. Touching the colour-illuminated button is a quick and convenient way to identify yourself. This is secure and additionally more straightforward than entering a PIN.

             Zero Layer Thanks to Zero Layer, handling the MBUX multimedia system in your EQB is now even easier. Instead of having to switch to submenus, the proactive Zero Layer user interface learns based on your decisions and provides the right information at the appropriate time.
            MBUX Augmented Reality for Navigation To enable you to find your way in complex driving situations, MBUX Augmented Reality for Navigation [1] combines the virtual world with the real one. The technology merges graphic navigation instructions and traffic information into live images. Arrive at your destination quickly, safely and stress-free. [4]
            MBUX Voice Assistant Experience and enjoy voice control at a fascinating level. From recognising and understanding almost any sentence related to infotainment and car operation, your EQB adapts to your voice and can even process indirect commands, e.g by gradually increasing the temperature setting as a response to a mere "I feel cold". Moreover, thanks to the advanced artifical intelligence your EQB will soon become your personal assistant by predicting repetitive behaviours and reminding you, for example, that you always phone home on a Tuesday evening.[1][4]
            Digital Extras Right from the start, your Mercedes-Benz has more to offer than you might at first realise. Depending on your vehicle model, the special equipment you have chosen, the year of manufacture and the country, many Digital Extras for topics such as remote, navigation, charging, GUARD 360° vehicle protection and entertainment are included for a term of 36 months from the date of purchase of the new vehicle[4]. If you would like to buy the Digital Extras for the first time or continue to benefit from the advantages of the Digital Extras after this period has expired, you can do this with just a few clicks in the Mercedes-Benz Store.
            Minigames Need to pass the time during a charging stop or while waiting? MBUX Entertainment offers a selection of specially developed onboard minigames[4]. You can play solo to beat your high score or challenge other occupants to on-screen competitions during your break along the way.[5]
            Parking package with 360° camera The 360° camera provides you with all-around visibility including a bird's eye view. This way, you can also master tight, unclear parking situations with confidence. Active Parking Assist with PARKTRONIC supports you in looking for a parking space as well as with entering and exiting suitable parking spaces which are parallel or perpendicular to the carriageway.[1][6][8]
            GUARD 360° vehicle protection GUARD 360° Vehicle Protection [7] provides all-round monitoring of the vehicle's surroundings - for example, with the anti-theft alarm system with tow-away protection. Movements in the interior trigger visual and audio warnings. The Mercedes-Benz collision detection function informs you via the app. [8]
            Adaptive Highbeam Assist Adaptive Highbeam Assist[1] automatically switches on the high beams if it does not detect any illuminated vehicles ahead or in oncoming traffic. The high luminous range allows you to better see the road and hazards. Press the steering wheel control lever to the high beam position to activate the function.
            Comfort seats with memory function The comfort suspension seats are fully adjustable in length and height. You can also change the angle of the seat surfaces and even extend them on the driver's side. Nets attached to the front seat backrests provide fast stowage space.[1]
            Ambient lighting With a total of 64 colours, you can create an interior to suit your personal preferences. Fascinating worlds of colour alternate dynamically or illuminate several areas in different colours.[1]
            Head-up display The head-up display[1] transforms your windscreen into a digital cockpit. With the virtual, full-colour image, you always have a direct view of key information. Your full attention remains on the road and the traffic conditions in front of you.
            Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC You'll never want to be without this highly developed system again, especially in bumper-to-bumper traffic or queues. Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC[1] relieves a great deal of strain and automatically regulates the distance from the vehicle in front. In conjunction with traffic sign recognition, you can adopt detected speed limits conveniently at the touch of a button[6] .
            Active Speed Limit Assist Active Speed Limit Assist[1] can help you to keep to the speed limit even in confusing situations. The system automatically and in an anticipatory manner adjusts the vehicle speed to the detected speed limits.[6]
            Active Steering Assist Active Steering Assist[1] offers you a noticeable increase in comfort at the wheel: the system can help you to keep your vehicle in the centre of the lane by means of gentle steering interventions. This ensures a high degree of stress relief, in particular, on monotonous routes with long straights or slight bends[6] .
            Active Brake Assist This assistant can help to avoid collisions with vehicles driving in front or stationary vehicles, with oncoming traffic when making a turn and with moving pedestrians as well as cyclists. Along with distance and collision warnings, the system primarily offers situation appropriate braking assistance, including performing an emergency stop, if necessary.[6]
            Active Lane Keeping Assist Active Lane Keeping Assist can steer you back into your lane if you unintentionally leave it or come dangerously close to other road users. If you leave the lane nevertheless, an additional warning follows in the form of steering wheel vibrations.[6]
            Blind Spot Assist Blind Spot Assist[1] can warn you visually and acoustically of side collisions with other road users – especially if you activate the turn signal indicator intending to change lanes. After the journey, the exit warning function helps when opening the door. A key protection measure, particularly for cyclists.[6]
            Trailer coupling with ESP® trailer stabilisation Even when driving you can benefit from a comprehensive safety concept: ESP® trailer stabilisation is able to intervene automatically in critical situations when driving with a trailer. Your vehicle recognises the trailer automatically as soon as the electric plug is connected[1]
            DYNAMIC SELECT Drive exactly how you like to. With DYNAMIC SELECT you can activate the energy-efficient drive program "ECO" at the press of a button and thereby extend your range. Additionally, the steering wheel shift paddles can be used to control recuperation of braking energy. Sport mode, on the other hand, makes the terrific power of the electric motors available for an even livelier performance.
            Run flat tyres Get to the repair workshop despite no pressure: thanks to run-flat tires, your EQB can still travel up to 80 kilometres even if damaged. This allows you to leave danger zones and come to the nearest workshop even after minor incidents[1] .
            Advanced Package. The Advanced Package[1] adds appealing and helpful extras to your vehicle. As soon as you open the front door, illuminated door sill panels show the way to the high-quality interior. Furthermore, with the Mirror Package and the Parking Package with reversing camera, you can keep an eye on everything even in stressful situations.
            Advanced Plus Package. With this package[1] there is a noticeable increase in comfort. In addition to the Advanced Package, you also receive the KEYLESS-GO Comfort Package, for example. During the journey, you will be entertained by the powerful Advanced Sound System. Meanwhile you can recharge your smartphone wirelessly.
            Premium Package. This package[1] upgrades your EQB to the top equipment level – in addition to the features in the Advanced and Advanced Plus Packages. The Burmester® Surround Sound system fills the vehicle interior with premium sound. With the head-up display, you can focus entirely on the road ahead. Additionally, the Parking Package with a 360° camera is included.
