[1] The following prerequisites must be met in order to use Mercedes-Benz Mobile Service: your vehicle is on private land (private property/company premises) with solid ground and good mobile reception. The owner/leaseholder of the site agrees to the performance of the work. A minimum distance of 1.50 m around the vehicle is guaranteed. An on-site inspection of the working environment by the service technician comes to a positive finding. The requirements for the working environment depend on the work to be carried out in each case. The service technician will check these before starting work and inform you of any limitations in the scope of services before starting work.
[2] The latest version of Mercedes-Benz MobiloVan is valid for the Sprinter, Vito, Citan and Marco Polo ACTIVITY models. For all vehicles with initial registration on or after 1 October 2012, Mercedes-Benz MobiloVan is initially valid for two years without a servicing requirement and is then renewed automatically and free of charge from service to service by an authorised Mercedes-Benz Service Partner – for up to 30 years. The latest versions of the services included in Mercedes-Benz Mobilo are valid for the V-Class, EQV, X-Class, T-Class, EQT, Marco Polo and Marco Polo HORIZON models. [3] The use of some Digital Extras requires permanent acceptance of the Terms of Use for Digital Extras and the Mercedes me ID Terms of Use in their current versions, permanent linking of the vehicle to the Mercedes-Benz user account, consent to the storage and retrieval of the information required to activate some Digital Extras in the linked vehicle and – where applicable – the activation of the Digital Extras. Once limited contract periods have expired, Digital Extras can be renewed for a fee in the Mercedes-Benz Store, provided they are still available for the relevant vehicle at that time. In addition, there may be further conditions or restrictions for the use of some Digital Extras, such as a separate customer-specific agreement with a third-party provider (e.g. streaming, conclusion of a data contract for ‘Convenience Data Volume’, navigation functions), the activation of additional Digital Extras to ensure functionality or selected products from third-party providers (e.g. smartphone, smartwatch). As an alternative to ‘Convenience Data Volume’, depending on the generation of your multimedia system, the customer’s own data volume (e.g. mobile hotspot) must be used. Information on personal data processed for the use of Digital Extras can be found in the Privacy Policy for Digital Extras and smart control services. Connection of the communication module to the mobile network, including the emergency call system, depends on the respective network coverage and availability of the network providers. Please also note any information in your vehicle’s owner’s manual.
[4] A service fee will be charged for travel to and from the site; you will be informed of this fee before making a binding appointment. The travel costs are the responsibility of the selected service company.
[5] The Mercedes-Benz Onboard Service App is available for Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, Vito and V-Class from model year 2024. Full use requires a valid Mercedes me ID and consent to the Terms of Use. Some features of the app may only be available in conjunction with certain vehicle models and equipment. An Internet connection is required to activate and use the service.
