3.0-litre six-cylinder in-line engine

At the heart of the hallmark AMG driving dynamics is the electrified 3.0-litre engine with twin turbochargers and an electric additional compressor. The 6-cylinder in-line engine has an output of 320 kW (435 hp) and peak torque of 520 Nm. Its EQ Boost starter-alternator temporarily delivers an additional 16 kW (22 hp) of output and 250 Nm of torque, and it also feeds the 48-volt on-board electrical system.

AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL

The AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL specifically compensates for rolling movements and optimises lateral dynamics during dynamic driving manoeuvres. This results in more precision and agility as well as the hallmark AMG driving experience.

4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine

The 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine and AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive catapult the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S 4MATIC+ Coupé and its S-model variant to a whole new level. The result: 450 kW of power with torque of up to 850 Nm. The integrated starter-alternator not only provides additional thrust, it also recuperates braking energy. A modern 48 volt on-board electrical system reliably provides energy and the additional compressor supplies torque from just above idle speed.

AMG DYNAMICS

The intelligent AMG DYNAMIC control electronics form the basis for the AMG DYNAMIC SELECT drive programs and ensure a highly variable driving experience – from moderate through sporty to ultra-dynamic. The driver selects either the desired pre-configured program via the AMG DYNAMIC SELECT switch or sets up the vehicle configuration himself/herself using the "Individual" program.

AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL

The new Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S model comes with AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL suspension as standard, which adjusts specifically to offset body movements in every driving situation.
