Specific optimisation measures and new designo paintwork ensure that it now delivers even more open-top enjoyment and delight in its performance. By comparison, the rest is just background noise.
Signature A-shaped AMG radiator grille
The new Mercedes-AMG E 53 4MATIC+ Cabriolet now has an even more dynamic look, particularly at the front. The signature A-shaped AMG radiator grille, the sporty front apron with a special front splitter in chrome and modified air intakes, plus the more emotive headlamp design are impossible to miss.
AMG rear end design
The exterior, with expressive AMG bodystyling, epitomises a sensual dynamism that is also clearly emphasised even further by the new design of the tail lights. The new designo paint finishes in patagonia red bright and brilliant blue magno also add a particularly seductive touch from any angle.
20-inch AMG 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels

With the AMG Night Package, selected exterior elements are finished in high-gloss black. This results in either strong contrasts or flowing transitions, depending on the slected paint colour. AMG DYNAMIC PLUS Package
The optional AMG DYNAMIC PLUS Package stands for the ultimate in driving enjoyment and supreme agility. It bundles together in an attractive package the key optional extras for noticeably enhanced driving dynamics.
With the AMG Performance steering wheel in DINAMICA microfibre, AMG steering wheel buttons and the "RACE" drive program including Drift Mode, everything is on board to excite sporty drivers. These all add up to an even more emotional driving experience, rounded off elegantly by the extravagant red brake callipers with black "AMG" lettering.
AMG DYNAMIC SELECT
With the five AMG DYNAMIC SELECT drive programs you can be your own race engineer. Intensify the dynamic character of your vehicle in accordance with the driving situation or simply as the mood takes you.
AMG DYNAMIC SELECT modifies the driving experience to suit your requirements with four drive programs ranging from "Slippery" to "Sport+". The "Individual" program allows you to adapt the settings for the engine and suspension independently of each other and precisely as you wish. All programs are showcased visually in the AMG instrument cluster.
AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT 9G
The AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT 9G transmission, which comes as standard, combines efficiency, dynamism and safety. It impresses sporty drivers with dynamic shift characteristics and the emotively appealing double-declutching function.
The characteristics of the transmission can be influenced by selecting the drive program via AMG DYNAMIC SELECT, and they boast shift operations that are sporty and fast or comfortable and barely noticeable, depending on the driving mode. Its nine gears ensure that the engine is almost always in the ideal speed range.
