      PRE-SAFE® Impulse Side If the new GLC detects an impending side collision, PRE-SAFE® Impulse Side (package component of the Driving Assistance package Plus) initiates measures to move the occupant closer to the impact towards the centre of the vehicle by means of a lateral impulse. This can reduce the risk of injury in the event of an accident.
